Our Christian Ethos
At Kingdom Christian School, our Christian ethos underpins everything we do. From our classroom expectations and behaviour policies—rooted in forgiveness and reconciliation—to the books we read and the environment we create, we seek to reflect Christ in all that we are.
Our teachers are committed, born-again Christian believers who are actively rooted in their local churches. They model Christ in their kindness, patience, and in the way they transform everyday moments into opportunities to share biblical truth and wisdom.
Each day begins with prayer, inviting the Holy Spirit to guide our actions, our conversations, and our learning. We also take time every morning to pray for one child and their family, lifting them up to the Lord and covering their lives, challenges, and circumstances in prayer.
We are intentional in ensuring that our curriculum, resources, and topics align with our Christian beliefs and values. While we begin each day with prayer and worship, participation is never forced. Instead, we gently and consistently expose our pupils to God’s love and truth, trusting that a genuine relationship with Him is something that cannot be forced, but prayerfully nurtured.
Our “Growth in God” characteristics encourage pupils to apply biblical principles in their daily lives. We uphold high standards and promote a strong work ethic, teaching children to work heartily as unto the Lord. We encourage values such as courage, perseverance, and resilience when facing challenges, reminding our pupils that through Christ, all things are possible.
Kingdom Christian School is committed to sowing seeds of faith in the hearts of children. We hold onto the promise that as they grow, they will not depart from the path set before them. From the very beginning of this journey, we were guided by the verse: “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?” It is both our privilege and responsibility not only to provide academic excellence, but also to nurture each child’s soul in the way of eternal life.
